It’s really so incredible how much movement there is in ADRs during the final days leading up to check in. We check in in a few days. A couple days ago, I got a Storybook Dining (finally after 6 months), but at a less than ideal time. I kept my alert going and got what I wanted a day later. I looked again today and there were even options available for Storybook Dining when I did a general ADR search (on a day we can’t do it, but still so shocking to see it come up!) Today I also saw Ohana Dinner, Cali Grill and other popular restaurants pop up.
So, the moral of my story is - if you don’t have what you want, do not lose hope! Touring Plans free reservation finder is your friend and there is SO much ADR movement in the days leading up to check in. We’ve noticed this on multiple trips and gotten so many ADRs we wanted (or didn’t realize we wanted until long after the the 180 day mark.)
