We are trying to decide between middle of October or the week of thanksgiving. I went in the middle of October last year and it was busy. has anyone gone the Sun-Wednesday of the week of Thanksgiving. How is it then? Is the weather about the same? Thanks for all the help!

We were there last year the Saturday to Saturday after Thanksgiving. :)
The weather was awesome!
The crowds were not that bad. Nothing close to a Summer weekend for sure!
Were going this year in the middle of October and im expecting it to be the same weather wise. We are going for the Mickey Mouse Halloween Party and were all very excited! We went 3 years ago and it was amazing! No crowds!

Have a good time!

Last year the days leading up to Thanksgiving were busy but T Day itself and the days following were quite nice *that's what I've read here on the DIS* we're hopin' for the same this year ~ we'll be there T Day, Fri & Sat :dance3:

I thought the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving were pretty crazy last year. Thanksgiving day and the Friday after were great! As long as you use your fastpasses and get there at opening you should be okay. :)

So glad to hear this! We'll be there Wednesday, Thanksgiving, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I've been both on a summer weekend and last Sun - Tues before Thanksgiving. The week of Thanksgiving was much more crowded!

It will be busy. The line for Small World was 45 min in the evening (when the lights are on.) I've been in October. I remember it being busy, but the days before Thanksgiving were worse, IMHO.

The weather will most likely not be hot as it can be in October. It can be anything from 70's to 50's and rain.

The park is beautiful at Xmas time. We're going again this year!
