Week of Thanksgiving too crowded?

I am in the process of booking a 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise for November 26, 2016. Was going to do 2 days at the parks- MK and HS afterwards. From what I'm seeing on the crowd calendars it looks like an extremely high crowd time. Anyone been? Experiences?

I went last Thanksgiving (and am going again this Thanksgiving). It was crowded, but not like Christmas crowded. There were no park closures that I was aware of. I'd say it was equal to April spring break crowds.

It is one of the more crowded times, but also one of the most fun times IMO! Yes it will be crowded, but I think the crowds thin out a bit after Thanksgiving weekend. On the flip side, the weather is fabulous in Nov and all the Christmas decorations are up. Its a great time to be in Disney and if I were doing a cruise and able to tag on park time, no way would I pass up 2 days at the park regardless of the crowds!

We are doing the Very Merrytime cruise so will have all of the decorations (which is why I chose it)
But I have never been to the parks during Christmas time and think it would be amazing! The crowd calendars are scaring me a bit though lol
