We range from beginners to triathletes. Come join us, whether you're training for an event or walking/running for fitness!

and didn't want to be here, but I poked my head in every now and then just to see what was happening
(which by the way, hasn't been a whole lot - the boards have been REALLY quiet lately!)
2 weeks ago I went out and did 4+ miles - instead of the old R3/W1, I decided to try W4/R1. None of the old aches and pains surfaced, and my average pace wasn't that much slower. Sunday I did 6.3 miles in an avg 13:16/mile and felt really good.
I think if I do 8 next weekend, 10 the next, and 12 the next, I'll be right on target for the half on 11/2 and can then keep on training and be ready for Disney in January.
mentally and physically.
