Week of October 21st

Can anyone tell me what's going on the week of October 21st? I know that it's the food and wine festival...but anything else? I'm trying to book a room for 2 nights for my DH & I to celebrate our anniversary while I'm in town for a conference. NOTHING is available for 10/21-10/23...not even a campsite? Could it be possible that every room at every hotel is really booked those 2 days? I asked a friend that works at one of the hotels and she didn't know of anything and thought it was weird to. Just wondeirng....

Extremely large IT conference which not only takes over Dolphin/Swan, lots of spillage into other Epcot resorts, which puts pressure on the other Disney property.

I was having the same problem but was able to book this morning. Try again, it looks as though some rooms finally opened. Good luck!
