Week of October 2, 2017

We are booked for the week of October 2, 2017 and we are trying to upgrade our resort but everything is booked. Is there something happening during this time that I should be concerned about?

Not sure if there is a run planned (most of them I think are in Jan/Feb) but it's the week before Columbus day which gives lots of people and extra day off. Sometimes this can be a factor.
I haven't heard of anything else "special" going on. MNSSHP is also starting in full swing and F&W is going on.
