Well, I am back at work now. I'm so not happy to be here. But Carter is at my sister's house, so I know he is okay, it's just hard being away from him.

Stephen dropped him off this morning, which was good as I wouldn't have been able to leave him. I'm just counting down the minutes until 5:00.

I did get a training run in last night (in between my tears

), I had 35 minutes scheduled and did 2.74 miles on the TM. I did intervals of r3/w3 with my run pace at 11:45 and my walk pace at 13:57. I threw in an extra minute of running in there at 1 mile, 2 miles, and 2.5 miles, that darn Britney Spears song made me keep running. Yes, I listened to it 3 times--twice in the run and then once during my core work afterwards. It is SUCH a good song.

Today is a rest day, tomorrow another 35 minutes on the TM, I'll have to do it before work as I refuse to waste any time with Carter on the TM.
Allyson--Congrats on your 4 miler!!!! That is awesome!
Cam--A huge congrats on your PR!!! I am so proud of you!!! Can't wait to see you and Howard NEXT weekend!
Carrie--Delta changed our flights too for marathon weekend. We were supposed to get in 1/9 at 9:30am, and they changed the flight to leaving Cincinnati at 9:30am. Grrr. At first we were just going to deal with getting into MCO 2 hours later, but then decided to a take flight late Thursday night.

Glad you had such a good run on Saturday!
Jackie--I'm glad you had such a good 10 miler with Jeanne, I wish I had someone to train with! I really like doing intervals too, I have tried straight running and I just don't really like it, I get bored! And doing intervals is SO much better on your legs. I know I'm preaching to the choir though!

I think I'm going to call my sister and see how Carter is doing, I made it 2.5 hours without checking on him. I think I am doing good!
