Anyone else going then? This is the first night of Value Season. We'll be at ASMo. Just looking for others to plan/commiserate with! :rotfl:

That is my favorite week to go. I am also leaving on the 27th. I'll be staying at one of the DVC resorts. I love to go this time of year-it's all decorated for Christmas, just beautiful. And my birthday is the 30th, so I'll be partying that day! :cool1:

Cool! My dh's b'day is Dec. 1st and he wants to go to Epcot that day. Which park are you hitting for your b'day? Also, are you planning your days around EMH once they are released, or do you go ahead and make plans/PS before EMH come out?

I am also hitting Epcot for my birthday, I always do! I think I will plan more once the EMH are released. I want to take advantage of the 3 hours at the end of the night. Less pressure to go commando style if we've got so much time later on in the day. I don't usually make PS for my birthday, we usually eat at Marrakesh and have never had a problem getting a table. But who knows what time may bring, I could change from my routine (but I doubt it  )

I was thinking the same thing about the EMH...with the early closings that time of year, the EMH could really enhance our days! I just noticed your Red Sox line...we are close by!! Dh wants to do Akershus for his b'day meal...any idea if that will be a zoo now that they do the Princess thing?? I still can't decide between lunch and dinner. The other thing I need to check on is whether our ds (1 yr. at the time of our trip) will be able to go on the Hidden Treasures tour with us. I read somewhere that it was only for ages 16 and up. :/

still working out the details. Currently planning to arrive Tues 11/29 thru Sun the 4th....then go offsite for a conference and return for 2 last nights at WDW the following weekend.

BUT......we may work in a trip to Universal. Don't really know. Our kids are young (2 turning 3 on the trip and 6) but the more I've looked into US/IOA the more I think they'd enjoy it. Sure, can't do some of the big coasters...but lots of other stuff would be appealing, and it would let us get the feel of it...before going back when they're teens.!

Right now I'm booked at ASMo and POFQ but am ultimately hoping for good AP rates to upgrade to POFQ and WL or Contemporary. This is our first time visiting w/ the Christmas decorations. I am SOO excited! And yes, we're going to do MVMCP and CP too!!!!

We're from CT....gotta love those Red Sox!!! and Patriots! What a year.

My fiance and I are also coming on November 27th. I have been to Disney several times in the spring and summer and am SO excited to see it all decorated for Christmas. :cheer2:

This is the week we are thinking of going--for those of you who have been how are the crowds? Last time we went President's Week and geez it was mobbed! I especially won't mind it if so many visiting are Sox/Pats fans (check out my user name). :smooth:

We are going to be there November 27th through December 1 and then we are going on our first cruise.

I have never been to WDW this time of year, I hope the weather is relatively warm.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary Nov. 27th-Dec. 3rd at BWV. We honeymooned at the Disneyland Hotel, did our 10th at CBR and can't wait for November!

Yeah, I just think the EMH, at night gives you so much more time during the day to just take things at a slower pace.
Yup, I love the Red Sox
I think even though it is a slower time, now that it is the Princess theme, you may want to make a PS just to be on the safe side.
We are too alike, I am taking the Hidden Treasure tour, for the 1st time next month! And yes, for most of the tours (except the family ones) you do have to be 16.
