Week of Nov 27th thru Dec 4th

We are going to Disney, doing that first Novemeber 27th thru Decemeber 2nd and then going onto Universal until Sunday the 4th, with a late flight out that nite. This will be our first trip to Universal and we are staying at the Portofino hotel onsitew because we hear the whole walking on to every ride is the best way to go. I was wondering what the crowds are like this week at Universal, at disney the crowds are minimal so we dont expect waiting there for much and since we have never been to universal it would really help our planning if we knew. Also, what does Universal/Islands of Adventure/City Walk do for the holidays,I saw somewhere that one of the sections of the parks becomes "Whoville". But if anyone has been there and can tell me what goes on if there are any other things and when all the decorations are up that would be great!! Thanks!!

The Seuss Landing area in IOA is really good at xmas done well am sure u will have a great time

We were at WDW with our daughter from 12/4-12/11 this past Christmas. We stayed at Disney but have AP's and visited Universal on Monday 12/6, no crowds at all walked right on everything including The Mummy and Shrek. Went back on Friday, 12/10 to IOA, no waits at all for The Huld and Spiderman. We went over to Universal to see the parade, this was the first day, and had no trouble finding a spot. People were only single lines along the curb. FOTL was not necessary on these days, but cannot comment on the weekends. But you should be there the week before Universal starts it's Christmas so maybe the crowds will be light.

Thanks for the info. We hope that they have "Whoville" up at the point, The Macy's Parade at Universal,I feel I can do without! so we'll see!!
