Week Before Easter April 1-6th - Are we Crazy?

OK, so we usually travel mid-Feb (before Presidents Day). Something has come up and we *may* be considering a trip April 1-6 for just DS and I. I did not realize that Friday (the 6th) is Good Friday. What I am wondering is whether the 'mega' crowds will be there this week or the following week - or is it a toss-up? If this is the 'busiest time of the year' we will just plan for another time, but if it is managable with the crush expected that weekend (6th onward) then we may go ahead.

From my experience it will be very, very crowded. The first two weeks of April are smack dab in the middle of spring breaks and the Easter holidays. Our seasonal annual passes are not valid during the three most busy times at WDW, the summer, Christmas and the Easter holidays. It will be packed. Sorry to say. May is a great time to go, perfect weather too!

We will be there that week. I totally expect it to be packed, but it's ok. We'll work around the crowds as best we can. We are bringing my daughters BFF along with us so they can go and do and we can pace ourselves.
