Week before Christmas?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has gone a week before Christmas. Say around Dec. 15 to Dec. 21? I know Christmas falls on a weekend like last year and was curious to see if anyone has been there around that time? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

We are booked at POP dec 17-24 when I made the Ressies CM told me that the first part of the week crowds shouldn t be bad at all but the weekend of Christmas should get really crowded.I figure if we take off on the 24th we should miss the big crowd since we won t be in the parks on departure day anyway.

We went from 12/13 - 12/19 two years ago. I have been to Disney in Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Sep, Oct and December (before the Christmas crowd) is by far my favorite. The weather was perfect. No rain and high 70s. We walked on every ride and felt like we got to see everything because we had so much time. We vowed never to go any time other than Dec again. Unfortunately, my husband, a high school teacher, now coaches boys basketball and they are mid-season in December so he can't take the time off. Boo Hoo!

You will not be disappointed!!!!

We were there last year 12/18 - 12/23. Was not bad at all. Early in the week was really great but as each day passed you could feel the crowds growing. However it never got extremely overwhelming. Use Fast Pass and all should be good. We got to see and do everything we wanted to and then some, including same day PS's. Would do it again in a heart beat!

We are going to be there Dec. 14 through the 23rd! Our daughter's birthday is on the 22nd and then we are getting out of dodge, I understand it gets crazy around Christmas. We just got our tickets for MVMCP on Saturday in the mail! We are staying at the Poly and can't wait! It's a little early to be this excited...I am happy to hear all the positive reports!

I would agree with CinderellaIam. We were there in 2004 from the 17th - 22nd and the crowds were quite manageable early in the trip and increased a bit each day, the closer we got to Christmas. But even on the last day, it wasn't too bad. It was a beautiful time to go - but be prepared for the possibility of cold weather. It was very cold two of the days we were there (40s) and I couldn't believe the people who had shorts and tank tops on with no jackets. I can't imagine that people don't check the weather channel long range forcasts or the internet for travel weather.
