Week before Christmas - crowds? weather?

Thinking about going to Disneyland the week Before Christmas - has anyone been there at that time? Worried about the weather most of all - the historical data shows high's in the 60's w/lows sometimes mid-30's!! And rain!(I know last year it rained record amounts). We usually go the first week of April and have lucked out w/sun and above average temps!

Try to join us and post in/subscribe to the Christmas Superthread if you can - lots of people have been to DLR at all different times during the holiday season and have experienced different weather and can shae their experiences.

I have gone on the weekend right before Christmas 3 times in a row, and the weather was different each year. Sometimes it was freezing at night - like in the low 40's - and other times it was maybe in the 50's at night and comfortable. Sometimes it was in the upper 70's in the daytime. Sometimes it was a bit cooler.

The crowds are pretty substantial once you get past the middle of December because lots of people have time off work and school. But weekdays are always better than weekends.
