Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

Has anyone been able to book H&V past 4:30 on Dec. 1? I am not interested in F!. I just want a later time for Dinner. I am trying to figure out if I was late trying to get the reservation or if they have not put the later times into the computer yet.

I have a 4:55 on 12/5, but that was the latest I was able to get. I think something's up.

Yeah good point. Also sounds like people are hoarding lots of extras until they decide their plans better. I got a decent line up for sure and am pretty happy about it. I am not sure about MK days though. Is BOG worth a TS dinner credit? I have CP booked both days (one lunch one dinner) but only want one. Ideally I wanted one BOG breakfast and one lunch but didn't get a breakfast so I grabbed dinner.

It was our second favorite food next to the Wave in the Contemporary. Wave is an easy to miss restaurant next to concierge desk on 1st floor, but by far the best food we had. BoG was good food but the opportunity to take a picture with the Beast was the highlight of my 2 year old's trip. She not really into princesses and had barely watched the movie but immediately fell in love with him. It's all in what your likes are. I was ready to pounce on my 180 day mark and BoG dinner was first on my list. I didn't get it . I ended up with CRT which I was really not trilled about as its 2 credits/or really expensive if you don't have DDP. I'll be on the hunt for a BoG for the next 6 months for sure!!

Does anyone know when the Candlelight Processional schedule and Dining reservations open or have historically opened in the past. We skipped it last year and regretted it. I don't want to miss out this year.

Looks like the Disney Parks Blog announced the packages on July 8 last year. Kenny the Pirate had a post about the CP on June 28, 2015. So I guess I'll be looking for information near the end of this month/beginning of next.

I wonder if they do this to control the masses. My friend is going for Halloween and the week following and he couldn't get Fantasmic! dining for several weeks after his 180 day mark.

I must admit, I'm glad to see they're beginning to extend EMM, but I'm also glad it isn't on the calendar for our dates yet as I'm not ready to purchase it! I have time to save a little more and let our plans solidify more before we're faced with making some of these decisions.

Agreed! I'm just wanting to be on top of it as soon as it opens up. I've really been afraid of the free dining that is going on that there's so many more people wanting reservations this year!!

The only time I was able to get 11/29-12/1 at HV was 3:30pm. I booked it at 5am cst 5/31

I've got H&V on 11/27 at 5:10. Not a F! Package.

I did see F! Packages for my dates by they were all before 5pm.

I booked it approximately 6:05am on Tuesday morning. There were later times available for other days that week when I booked it, but 12/1 had the leanest availability then.

I was able to get a 4:20 on the 12/1 and I guess I was lucky. Today nothing is open for Minnie's Dinner. I tried at about 6:05est on 6/1. Right at 6:00 I was lucky to get BOG and then O'hana's.. at the times I wanted them, so I guess that was my Pixie Dust. Since I am not interested in F! I am hoping they will open up later times when they open up F!. Surely they held back times for F!.

I've tried to watch a couple videos of it and it's just hard to imagine giving up park touring to sit in what amounts to a church service. I think it looks really neat, I just can't decide if we'll be happy spending our time doing that. I'll be anxious to see who the narrators are while we're there. That might help me decide one way or the other.

So I just noticed on the November calendar that Josh is showing MK in red on my one full MK day (besides check-in day which I don't count as full because we won't be there til mid morning and will probably leave for awhile when the room is ready). He also has overall crowds at a 3 that day though. And it's an EMH pm night for MK so maybe it's red for that reason, although we won't be therefor the night time crowds. Thoughts? Would you change your whole schedule or leave it?

I think it depends. Days without MVMCP will be much busier since some want to do regular Wishes/MSEP. So if that is your goal too, then I would stick with it.

We are going on a red day too - our last day has morning EMH but we want to end at MK, so we are giving it a shot. Red with a 3 crowd level is better than with a higher crowd level... so we will see!!
