Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

We doing EMM on 11/29 and MVMCP on 12/1.:santa:

I would love a PPO BOG on 11/27 to avoid the RP Hussle. DD does not want a PPO she wants to watch the welcome show and head in with the hoards. I suggested her an her brother wait for the show and I'll leisurely walk up an uncrowded main street for a PPO BOG.

Me too! :yay: We'll be at EMM too!
I'm excited!!! I debated for a month and then finally decided to do it.
I wish we could do EMM on 11/27! We have a PPO BOG that day. Anyone else?
I am cancelling my BOG PPO to do it.
We will be there on the 29th too!!
This will be our first time. I still don't know how to plan for the characters. Jack Skellington and 7 Dwarfs are a must. I've read that the lines are very long

The lines are long but it's doable and part of the fun! My family isn't huge character meet n greet fans, but we will do 7D for sure. And probably a few others. You are gonna love it! So much fun!pixiedust: :santa:

So who is driving down? How long will your drive be? Ours is 10 hours, not including stops. We decided to go through Atlanta :scared1:, then we will stop in Valdosta for the night. I didn't want to drive straight through with the littlest. Doing the same on the way back, which will give us a half day at Disney since we are only driving 3 hours up the road.

I drove every time as a kid. 5 kids in a conversion van. I swore as an adult I'd ever do that again. So far so good haha.

@ElenaofAvalor god speed friend. I hope you guys have a great, uneventful trip both ways!!

Just got our pest control appointment set. It was supposed to happen either Thanksgiving week or the week after (ah-hem, we have more important things to be doing THAT week!). He'll be here this Friday. :cool1: It's the little things that get me excited right now.

I'm sick, and just hoping the rest of the family doesn't get it.

DH spent over 4 hours raking and blowing leaves and cutting down the garden areas. We have SO MANY LEAVES. it's crazy. I love all the trees but ugh. I am hoping to convince him to let us put up the Christmas tree tomorrow. We usually do it the weekend after thanksgiving but we will be gone so I want to come home to a festive house. It will help with the post disney blues I'm sure!

Our cats don't allow us to have a tree anymore. I grew up with cats and none of them really ever bothered the tree other than maybe to paw at the low-hanging ornaments, but these two... geesh! I gave up after they destroyed two trees.

I hope you over whatever bug really soon and are feeling great for your trip! I decided to do Thanksgiving on Wednesday. We are leaving Friday and I didn't want to give up having leftovers! I'll spend Wednesday afternoon and Thursday doing some Christmas decorating and doing last minute trip packing stuff.

12 days for us! :yay: This next week at work will drag though! Once we get through next week, we'll be home free! Those last days will go quick. I feel like everything's done now, as far as planning and buying stuff, so now it's just the waiting game. I'm pretty much a last minute packer so that won't happen for awhile yet!

Cor is outside now putting up Christmas lights :D Putting the tree up early is a good idea. We usually do ours Thanksgiving weekend but it'll be the weekend after for us this year. I'm looking forward to picking out new ornaments at Disney! :santa:

We are driving too...1100 miles and also going thru Atlanta and staying in macon on sat night. In 2014 we stayed at the hampton in valdosta. It was great having just a short drive the next day. Will u stop at a grocery store on your way in? We usually go to Walmart in Osceola as its not too far off the route.
