Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

I think this should be our wed night at MK fireworks viewing attire.

Everyone get on it ;)

That's a good price too...I am seriously thinking about it. I just realized yesterday that my kids have outgrown all their Disney attire. I am going to resist the urge to buy some because they have plenty of clothes and this trip was unbudgeted for anyways. (Buying stuff for 4 kids can get expensive!) They don't NEED a Mickey shirt...but maybe I do, haha! And this sweatshirt is something I would actually wear when not at Disney too.

Re: Wed evening fireworks at MK. That is our no park day with dinner at GF. But as I was working on a backup plan if I can't get FEA in the early afternoon on 12/1 then I thought maybe I could get one for the evening. Basically I could switch a couple things around and add 1 extra day to see fireworks and castle lighting at MK on 11/30. We plan to do that on 11/28 but would need to move it because of the FEA debacle. Then that would give me 1 whole day at Epcot and 1 whole evening to explore World Showcase which I have never gotten to do before! So now I'm sort of hoping I can only get it for the evening, then I could also meet up with y'all on 11/30! Maybe I should discuss with DH. I'm the CPA for his small business so everything runs through me anyways... ;)

Super cute! Although I'm hoping it's warm enough to not need sweatshirts again!

Me too! I really want to pack lightly. Maybe winter will be delayed this year because it still feels like summer her in MO! All the area pools are closed but my kids are still swimming in the plastic pools from Walmart! And DH has been dying to go bow hunting but it's just too hot.

It was 87 here today!

And am I the only nerd who feels like we "need" to wear a Disney shirt every day we are in Disney??

Fall has begun here - its 50s at night and only hit 70 today. Woo!

The kids both wore Disney shirts every day last trip. They probably will again, and now if it's cool enough at night I can too :)

There were several styles too - a Minnie hoodie, - Minnie/mickey in this style...

I also bought a Hogwarts one! Haha

I am a 2/4 and usually wear a small or medium. They didn't have medium and I got a large - it's baggy but not too too big.

ETA - I tried on the small and it fit but the sleeves were a tad shorter than I like them. Medium would be perfect for my size.

Its at least cool in the mornings here in TN. DH hunting archery as I type. Its opening day here. There's no evening hunts here though it was 90 yesterday without including the heat index. The humidity is so bad here!!

You're not the only nerd. DD will have Disney attire on every day. DH refuses to wear anything with a mouse on it. I got some red chino shorts from J Crew on clearance for $12 over the summer. I will wear those and a white tank for our "castle" picture day. I got DD a white Minnie T from Hanna Anderson on clearance so she will wear that in castle pic. Grumpy will likely wear a red t shirt.
I love mini melissa shoes for DD. I found these on clearance in red as well.

Week of halloween last year was SO damn hot. I'll take some cooler mornings/evenings in exchange for those 90+ degree days. I have no idea how people survive the summer heat!

I ordered my sweatshirt! On my kids first trip they all wore Disney shirts every day, all bought by their grandma who funded the whole trip! But there were only 3 kids back then. Perhaps if I could find one or 2 each for $3 or less I might splurge on it! No Mickey for DH...maybe Star Wars. Hoping after this trip he will be a true Mouse fan.

I want a pic by the Christmas Tree at MK. Where is it exactly?

Right when you walk in the park before you head down Main Street.

I couldn't talk DH into a mickey shirt, but he will rock star wars shirts. and I saw a Darkwing Duck and Duck Tales recently too. I may have to get him those!

I hope he is successful! I had to schedule our trip around deer season. Hoping DH has a successful season otherwise Disney is going to be miserable for us! ;)

We went the last 2 Septembers but we would take breaks during the heat of the day. I'm really hoping the temps during this trip will help my kids' stamina and they will have fewer meltdowns. One can hope...
