Has anyone gone the week after Thanksgiving? We're looking at Monday the 28th through Saturday Dec 3, with Tuesday and Wednesday in the parks for sure and then possibly taking Thursday off and coming back on Friday. I know Thursday will be less crowded but the hours for Friday are longer. Any advice? Is that week still pretty busy? We have 2 kids ages 4 & 8 and are doing 3 day hoppers.
Thanks for the help!!

We did in 2014. Walked on most rides. I think the longest we waited was 15 minutes. It rained a couple days, but nothing horrible but it cleared out the parks.

Thank you!! I was looking for past years' trip reports but couldn't find any for that same timeframe. This makes me feel much better! Thanks for the info!!

That is our favorite time to be in the parks!

Thanks! I was hoping we would miss all the Thanksgiving crowds and get ahead of the Christmas crowds, but I haven't seen the parks during Christmas since I was 4 years old (so never since I don't remember it!)

We've done this week several times and it is a pretty good time to go an enjoy the Christmas time at the parks. The last couple of years have become much more crowded, but I really don't think there is such a thing as a "slow" time any more like it used to be.

It's as good as you will get during the holidays.

I'm glad this question was asked, because we were planning on going the first week of November, and DH just said he'd rather go when -all- the holiday stuff was up, even if it was a little more crowded. So this is the week we're looking at too. We don't mind taking our kids (who don't struggle at all) out of school for a Disney trip every few years...

I agree! My daughter will be in 2nd grade when we go and I'd much rather take some school work with us or make it up later than wait to do things over breaks when places are crowded and prices are higher! Enjoy your trip!! Maybe we'll see you there :)
