Week after Thanksgiving Info

Hi Guys

Coming from the UK, I am clueless about Thanksgiving. Me and my BF are planning to go to NY for 3 night over thanksgiving for the Macy's parade, and then flying down to Orlando on 27th November for 7 nights. I know it is off topic but any advice on NY hotels would be great.

But I HAVE to ride revenge of the Mummy! As we are arriving in Orlando at the weekend just wondering how busy the parks will be then. I know it will be busy but any idea on Q times would be cool. Just to give us an idea on whether it is worth booking 2 nights on site to get FOL access.

I can't help you with the NY hotels... where do you plan on staying... only advice that I can give is if you are staying in Manhattan.... do not go for what looks like a really cheap deal... it will be horrible. I use to live 25 minutes north of Manhattan....and all of the nice hotels were expensive (make Universal's look like they are cheap in price). As far as crowds at the park... usually the Monday after Thanksgiving the parks clear out.... they stay basically crowd free until about the 3rd week of December..then they start to get very crowded with each passing day closer to Christmas... and between Christmas & New Years... they will be mobbed!
