Week after Thanksgiving: Avoid MK on MVMCP days?

We'll be at WDW the week after Thanksgiving. Our current plan is to see MK on Monday and Tuesday, but I see that MVMCP is scheduled for both of those days. We'll have two babies in our group, so we'd like to leave the park around noon for a break and then come back for a couple of hours in the late afternoon and early evening. I'm concerned, though, that crowds will build in the afternoon and evening leading up to the party.

Will it be worth it to come back in the afternoon if we don't have tickets to the party? It looks like we won't have Park Hopper tickets, so visiting another park in the evening wouldn't be an option.

I'd go in the morning and stay until around 4pm when the partiers start entering the park. I think it's less crowded on party days in the mornings. Can the babies nap in their strollers? Mine would conk out and we'd carry her asleep onto some of the rides and shows.

This is a very low-attendance week--and because MVMCP is separately ticketed, many people avoid MK the day they have their party. You should be fine with your plans, but make sure you get to MK 20 minutes or so before it opens, so you can see a lot in the morning, just in case.

Great advice :thumbsup2 I think the if you get there at rope drop you will get through a lot in the morning. On crowded days MK can start to get unmanageable after 11:00 AM. I think you should give your plan a shot! The worst case scenario is the MK will be too crowded for your group to do rides in the afternoon but you can still see Wishes at 6:00PM that night. The parade is scheduled for 3:00PM. :sunny:
