Week After July 4th

We are considering a trip July 9-16. How does this time of year compare with the 3rd week in June as far as heat, crowds, park hours, etc? We made the June trip a couple of times and liked it just fine, but need to make it later this year due to several conflicts.

ahhh I was there July 6-14 this year *&* I'm from North Texas too!

Ha, sorry! Anywayss, the first couple of days after the fourth, there's like noone there.....but starting around July 10 TONS of people showed up!!! The crowds and the heat made if kind of miserable!! But it IS peek season so it's what you have to expect.
