This will be our family's 3rd Easter trip to WDW

, PORS 2003, CBR 2004, CSR 2007...
I have found the crowds are at their peak at this point, mobbed is a good word! However with a little pre-planning, the crowds are manageable. A few points:
1. Fastpass!

Use it for all your must see attractions. It's the first thing we do when we enter the park, find the attraction we want the most and fast pass it!
2. Timing.

Early morning or dinner time is the best time to beat the crowds. Try to avoid peak times like 11:00am - 3:00pm and don't get "caught" in the wrong place. Our first year we found ourselves at the American Pavilion for the fireworks in EPCOT. THREE hours later we flooped in our beds exhausted from a trip that should have taken a half hour.
3. Don't go. SAY WHAT

! That's right, don't go to the parks every day. On our usual 7 day trip, we only buy a 5 day park hopper pass and spend the other 2 days at the pool

or resort hopping. It's amazing how much fun there is outside the parks, check it out.
4. Finally... be patient

. Yes the lines are long, but a little patience goes a long way. Here's a little tip; if you're in a long line, start talking about home (NJ for me). Each time I do this there is someone nearby from my area that hears their home state mentioned. They're as bored as you, you strike up a conversation, talk about your trip, your hotel, your experience, meet a new friend and presto! you're at the end of the line. Last year we talked about home in line at AK safari and had 3 families from within 50 miles of our home in line with us. That hour in line went by VERY quickly!
Remember, it's your vacation, you just happen to be sharing it with 100,000 of your closest friends!
