Weeds!

Mild winter = many weeds. They are out of control!

With all the snow we still have, a weed would be a welcome sight, almost....

Argghhhh!!!! I was cleaning out some beds the other day and the only thing green were the weeds! They won't die!!!!
Pre-emergant(sp?) doesn't seem to work either. It's almost like they change their genetic code to fight back each year

Weeds-the number one garden anguish. Spend a week aerating and weeding your gardens. Along comes a summer rain storm and there right back in force.

What can be done to prevent them? Sadly there is no true preventative, products like preem will help if you have a small garden. A little too costly when you have many large gardens.

Mulches help but you will still need to weed.

A true gardener always has an achy back from weeding. It's a fact of life. There's no way around it.

Mega $$$$ help, you can hire a full time weeder.

A couple of mornings ago I woke up and took a look out of our bedroom window and noticed the yard was finally green. I thought to myself, "Wow! that grass is really green!" When I went out to take a closer look, low and behold, weeds, weeds, weeds, not a single blade of grass to be seen! Talk about depressing!

Of course all my husband could say was "at least it's green"
