Wee-Haggis Trip Report (+ Big Surprise For Kids!)Day 4

This is our 12th visit as a family and first time to Cypress Pointe.
We have surprised the kids twice before but this time is definitely the biggest yet (Suprised will be revealed on Trip Report for Aug/19th).

Day 4 - Aug/13
Up at 6am ,breakfast in the villa and then off to Animal Kingdom.
Arrive at parking lot about 8-30am and go through Rainforest Cafe where we go through the little known about ,secret entrance to the park (shhhh...don't tell anyone!).

DW begins the race straight to the Kilimanjaro Safari (her fave part of the park) .It very hot today so unfortunately the animals are not in full view and quite inactive. Its then onto Everest where DD chickens out again and DS calls her names. We scold DS and DH and DS go on alone.(we also got fast passes for later). Everyone heads over to Dino Land to ride Tricertops Spin and Primeval Whirl as well as Dinosaur. On the way over we check out the new Nemo building under construction.

Back to Everest to use the Fastpass and we see the boat with all the characters going under the bridge. DD blows a kiss to Minnie.
DS and DH ride everest a second time and give the spare fast passes to a very happy young couple. Its now 11-45 am,its very hot and we leave the park and head back to the Villa for a cool swim. DH and DD take a nap while DW and DS go to the pool for an hour. Pools were much busier and clouds started to roll in about 2-30pm. The rain got quite heavy and lasted right through until after dinner.DD and DH decided to go to the resort take-out in their bare feet and ponchos.

We watched Big Brother,Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and Cash In The Attic. The TV channel selection is quite good with all the basic channels as well as HBO and Travel Channel in HDTV.

Faves Of THe Day
DD - Seeing boat with Characters
DS - Wings at dinner
DW - Dinosaur
DH - Everest for the first and second time.

Dislikes Of The Day
DD - The Heat
DS - The Heat
DW - Rain
DH - Getting the Pizza in soaking rain (then finding out they had room delivery!)

You can tell DD that I do not like the Everest either and won't do it.....well not this year....It is a pretty awesome site to see it from the ground. She and I can be the photo takers of the family.

Sometimes it is good to go and get the pizza yourself......delivery charges enough to have another pizza tomorrow.....

I didn't realize it was still so hot in Florida. I bet the crowd level was low because the Florida kids went back to school that week.
