Wednesday before Presidents Weekend

We are staying at WDW but would like to take one day and go to Island of Adv. We can go on Wednesday or Thursday before Presidents Weekend. Are main goal is to see HP, of course. Which day is better to visit? Do you think there will be large crowds? What type of wait times should we expect if we get there for opening. This is our first visit = any tips? I know we shouldn't bring bags but what do you do with your cameras? Thanks

I don't think the crowds before the holiday weekend will be too bad at all. You could pretty much pick your day to visit. Since you are going to see HP, you will still want to arrive about 30 minutes before park opening to get in line so you are in a good position to get in before the majority of crowds arrive.

If your camera can not fit in your pocket, you should leave it with a non-rider or go through the castle line...take pictures and then use a locker while you're riding Forbidden Journey.
