I totally agree with you. I love it when they say the average salary for a teacher is around 52,000. Um hello, I make a LOT less than that! Yeah, the cost of living might be less here than it is in NY or CA, but trust me, I'm barely making it! Oh well, I didn't become a teacher for the money, which I think most teachers can say the same right Jen!? I'm done venting (sorry for venting on your PJ!)

Im sorry for my little vent thats gonna happen too- but i totally agree- i think teachers (the good ones like you and stacey) should be millionaires because of what you have to do. The crap some kids put you through isnt about the money, its because teachers are angels and saints and you will hate me for this, but i was one of those kids that made teachers lifes hell. One teacher i made cry once, when i was about 13 or 14- it will haunt me forever. It took a long time, but he and i did have a good teacher - student friendship in the end. I cant believe what i did to him- it was something silly about not turning off music i cant even remember now, but it made me feel so crap at the time i felt like a murderer- because i knew he was in a crap paid job, and the only reason he was there was because he wanted to teach us music. I was like this with a lot of my teachers -we didnt get on and it caused trouble but then i got my head screwed on- and realised how much respect i had for them and we had some great bonds. Its the respect that kids should be taught from a young age- one thing i didnt learn, we was basically ya know, sent off to high school thinking teachers are your worst enemy who will make your life hell with homework ect.. but argh, it makes me angry to think that teachers go through crap every day and they dont get paid to put up with crap like i put them through. if only i could turn back time and went right back to the beginning of school, i would change everything i did- but mostly, i would change my view on teachers because in the long run, i would have come out with a lot higher grades - i came out with 12 GCSE'S (9 A-C) and that was only because i got myself together and made amends with all my teachers and they helped me back only because they cared.

I have the most respect for teachers- more than anyone. What you have to go through is just well, hands down to you. You are all angels and saints and if i was president / queen / prime minister - someone in charge - teachers would be right at the top salary wise. but trust me, you will find another job because you are an amazing teacher.

Sorry again for my rant and bombarding your pj with my rant, you probs will hate me for admitting i was one of those kids teachers hate. heh.

Just a funny teacher story to lighten the end of the day work load ladies...

When I was in 2nd grade (7 or 8 years old) I was sent to the directors office at Sunday School for playing tag while our nun was writing on the chalkboard. She sent me and Bobby (a boy in my class) to the office, but I was too scared to go in so I hid in the bushes outside until it was time for my mom to pick me up...
My mom never knew about this... until I was 25 and Bobby (who is a good friend of Daves coincidentally) told her about it. Now Bobby will be at our wedding, so I guess we have come full circle lol!

Ok, highjack over, you can continue your PJ now

I know what you mean. I make around 40 and that is high for catholic schools. ITs rediculous....

I like the name Dean. There were three girls in my grade last year who were BFF's and their names are Daisy, Lacey, Macey. I think they have been in the same class since K. so when you mentioned that name that is who I first thought of. It's a cute name also!

Oh my gosh! 100 days!? It's going to fly by!!!!! When is your last day of school up there?

Some students try to make our lives h*ll. Which stinks but I am not goign to hurt the rest by not doing fun things you know?

What is BK? And yes I think you should take ur laptop. I think I go through DISboard withdrawal the same way I have WDW withdrawal but WDW withdrawal is probably a little worse!

Aw Jenny hunny! We will allllllll be there in spirit trust me!! And i think 2 weeks will be too much for us all on here so i think we'll be ordering you to lug the laptop to update us just once or twice! hehe!! (dont want to ruin ya disneymoon but we all wanna see whats going on because we will all be wishing we was there!!)

- about that teacher thing, if i was to see him now, we would still get on as well as we did once we got over the hiccup - we were pretty good mates! heh! Its just one of those things where, because of the person i am, i still feel guilty for doing it even though its all sorted and forgotten about.

I feel for you about the drama going on, try not let it get to you too much, you have enough on your plate as it is!!

Well, is it the easter holidays out there now for you? If it is, then you MUST have some Jenny time- not school time, not wedding stuff time -JENNY TIME!! well, okay, you must have JENNY AND VINNY TIME!!

Im giving you orders now heh!! But seriously tho, no matter how bad things may seem, im sure they could be worser so please try to keep a smile and remember everything will be okay in the end! We all feel like the world and everyone is out to get us many many times but it all works out.

Would you be annoyed if, you just found out that you sent the cards out, and two days later, you find out (MY INVITES) that your sister in law threw it out as soon as she got it and only got the RSVP card? The invitations I literally spent HOURS on doing by hand? And my BROTHER IN LAW never even got to see it?
