Hey Jen, i know you are crazy about buying presents and making surprises for Vin for the wedding and honeymoon, and i saw this and thought id send you the link - the disney his n hers watches that the wedding planner gives to you after the ceremony. They are pretty reasonable priced? Have a look!

I think Vin is spoilt rotten by the gifts he is going to get on the disneymoon but at least you could have a gift with this one!! hehehee!!

I cant believe she let you wait and wait- you could have got a big size and it wouldnt have been that expensive to get it adjusted if you got the dress when it was cheap! 3 months is taking the p!!!

Are you paying for the dress? The thing is, its not even about the money, your wedding is 3 months away and you shouldnt be worrying about this now- it should be sorted and they should have their dresses- its not fair on you because you are the one looking around - and its even worse if you cant get the dress you wanted!

I hope you are okay, try not to let this get to you. Have you got everything done for the wedding yet or do you have some things to do? It seems like you have nearly everything sorted, so thats really good.

OOhhh so when are you moving in? Have you got your place all sorted now or do you need to buy bits for it!!?? oooh so exciting- everyone seems to be moving in on here!! I wish i was moving into somewhere with Wayne!! heh. If ya need anything or need any help just ask!! i wish i lived near you- i love helping people move in- i have helped decorate so many people houses (i wanted to be an interior designer since i was a kid-until i realised i had to go to uni for ages!!) xxx

We called his aunt last night to tell her that we needed the measurements so tht I Could order the stinky dress. I love the dress. Its perfect for a jr bridesmaid. Its the watters wtoo 336
i just don't undertstand what else I should say or do. It is going to take two months and if it doesnt come in then what? You know?

Things I Have left to do:
The menus
Finish the programs for the church
mail out the invites
the aisle runner
centerpieces (basically have to buy sea glass)
and finish the votives.

Wow thats really not that much left. Okay not I feel a bit better! Thanks for asking stace!

Vin actually renovated his house into a two family. We will live downstairs and his parents upstairs. He gutted the basement last year and began to renovate it. Took rooms from all different cottages and put them into the appartment. I will post pictures once its all complete.

I have moved in, semi-permanantly. I am not sure how his mom feels about me being there. We still dont have the bathroom done so I am showering in the morning upstairs. I told vin he needsto talk to her because I do not want her to be angry with me.

The living room is being painted, and the bedroom, the kitchen is finished. We did it all together, the floors, the woodwork. Its so nice. I dont knw if i would ever want to leave. lol.

We won a television from the rachael ray show a while back so thatis in our bedroom. We don't have the money for a large one for the living room yet so we are just going to buy our fireplace.


If you guys are ever in the mood to come to the states you can surely feel free to stay with us! It would be wonderful!

After my uncle lost his job at Disney, he has been beyond depressed.

He worked there for months and last year was in a few papers as a highlighted Pin Designer.

He will not return anyones phone calls or get back to us about how he is, but the one thing he is most worried about is that he ruined MY honeymoon. In a time of crisis why he is worried about not giving me my honeymoon!

I am so worried about him....and so is mum so...we may be taking a trip up to florida for four or three days to see him. As of right now it would be Mon-wed but who knows with the flights and stuff when it would be...

I am just so so worried baout him. This economy has hurt the most amazing people and I am so unsure how to help them....

Please keep him in your prayers, I am worried....thank you girlies

Eeek! I would be mad about the junior bridemaid dress situation too! I'd make her pay the extra $50 and get the dress you originally wanted! Why would she think brown would be ok?? It's always family that's a PITA. My DF's sister just informed me last week that she is going to wear tan shoes for the wedding because she didn't want to spend money on a pair of silver shoes, which is what the rest of the BM's are wearing. Tan doesn't even match our colors!

I'm so sorry to hear that your uncle is so depressed.I hope he's feeling better soon! I'm sure a visit from you guys would cheer him up!

LOL. This is what gets me in trouble actually. I actually paid for myf riends honeymoon (nothing big, just in the pocono's) because she said she had no money... and then two months later they went on a 14 day carnival cruise and didn't speak to me again....

I'm just beyond nervous for him you know?

We are so lucky/ There are two separate entrances. To get into our appartment inside the house is two locked doors. The outside is another two locked doors.

They're older... 60 and 72 so they really don't bother us at all. I feel really lucky!

We actually have jet blue vouchers for 90.00 so that is PERFECT... our total vaca would probably cost a total approx 400.00 (which would be 200 each) and we would pack our own food...

I just want to see him and make sure he is okay

ooooh without a doubt if i ever come to anywhere near you i am crashing at yours!! sod paying for a fancy ny hotel when i can crash at yours haha! ooh i cant wait to see photos- i loveeee interior design and i cant believe Vin did it all himself- that is one hell of a job!!- but the results are worth it, when you renovate and totally gut places it gives you a chance to build whatever you want in whatever style you want. Even if its not done yet, you can live there and that is great! I can imagine feeling awkward having to go upstairs to use the bathroom, i have stayed in Waynes for a long periods of time but sometimes ya know, its like i feel like i am intruding in his mums home- even though she says she is okay with it. I understand what you mean you dont want her to get angry at you! At least you and Vin have your own home now! Your own place! Your own privacy! you can have fun together in your new home!!

I am the same with watches- i once got a watch and 4 links had to be taken out- i have tiny wrists! shame the rest of me isnt tiny - but i have skinny wrists too haha!!

Its a very wierd situation when someone gets made redundant - it makes them feel worthless- Wayne really felt so crap when he got made redundant- and that was wa week before xmas! I came into work today and shortly after my boss- the location manager came in too- told everyone it was his last day and was not working for squirrel anymore- everyone in the office was just looking at each other like 'what??' - we hadnt heard anything before- and he packed up his stuff and was out in ten minutes and just said goodbye everyone. Wow- it was heartbreaking- a big, pretty powerful man and he sounded so upset and tired, it sounded like he was really down. The company had decided to ask him to leave with no notice. He was told last night when he was at home and just came in in the morning to clear up. shocking. the thing is, i feel for him, but he was a manager raking it in on about £50k so he will be okay for a while!!

your uncle needs support, but its tricky. its hard to mention it too and talk to them about it. You should try and take that trip to see him, just because. Taking a trip 'just because'. heh, that'd be cool. I'd be great for you to spend time with him, it will lift him up a lot.

With the Good Comes the Bad​

So, I'll give the bad news first because it is pretty much a downer.

I was informed I will not have my job next year at the Catholic school I teach at. They pay me "too much" (which is stinky lies because I am barely paid anything) So, I am looking for a job now...


THE GOOD NEWS
They are honoring my honeymoon at the Wilderness Lodge!!!

and

Stacey sent me an awesome Disney... whats it called...Okay I have amajor brain fart but it leaves an impression of the character! So so exciting! Thanks Stace made me smile!

Sorry to hear about your job. Stupid recession I am sure you will find something. THere is always a need for teachers and hopefully a lot of teachers will be retiring soon. DO you want to stay at private school or would you work in public? I know NYC public is not the greatest but good benefits etc....everything will work out-it always does. here is some pixiedust for good luck!
