So, on to good news...

Today one of my students came in with a WDW Bag and said "Here, this is something REALLY special"

I love this girl, love her family. They are so kind and caring and just, adorable, and huge disney freaks like me!

I open the box and start crying! My first Wedding gift... and not only that but... MY FIRST DISNEY WEDDING GIFT!!!!

It really really did. After throwing up and Vinnie freaking out, and then finding out it was all a big joke, I am happy. THat was the sign I needed!

Nooooo my stupid psyhco laptop! I was just writing a long essay! I mean, soz for writing up an essay for your pj but I was just explaining how fab your dress looked!

Well now, I have to just write a short version! Grrrr!! I was saying that your dress looks stunning- and I LOVE lace- but I could never pull it off- I don’t have the right skin colour and I don’t have the right shape- you will look amazing in it – its definitely a Jen dress – it’s just so right – you have the shape and the skin tone! Lace looks so elegant and expensive, I love your dress! If you don’t mind me asking- do you tan really well? It just I have some friends that have darker / olive skin and they tan so quickly – im so jealous!

It must have been such a heart warming moment when your student brought in that Disney wedding gift- see they DO think of you, and you DO touch their hearts- they must love to for them to want to buy such a personal gift! Yay for you!

I love the wedding band – great idea- so thoughtful with the dates good eh!? I agree with Vinny – Jenny you must not wear your e ring in the parks – its just TOO precious okay! Hehehe!

Well im sure i have missed something out from my mega long essay i was writing .. if i think of it i will write it haha!

Its not long to go now- my days at work seem to be going so slow! I just cant wait to walk off that plane in Orlando - to let the fun begin!

Why dont you do the VR in 2010 or 2011 and tell Vin that you are saving up for a surprise for his bday / or saving up for a surprise vacation - then he wont question where the money is going because he'll understand you are saving up for something foryou both or him hehe! I dont know how you will keep it a secret- im having trouble not telling Wayne i want to book a reservation to that sci fi dine in - he cant make up his mind about when we are going to DHS - and tonight i nearly flipped when i was like 'just make up your flipping mind- i just want to know when we are going!' hehe- he is like 'why do we need to know when we are going, cant we decide when we are there' arrgh! hehe! And to think, when a reservation is finally booked and it comes to the day - it will be soooo hard for me to not tell him what i have done! haha!

My students are really great. Lately they've been bringing me snapple caps! So so cute

I was thinking 2011 now for the VR because, well, It will be easier moneywise and definitely a good 30th birthday gift for him!

THank you about the dress. I do tan very easily. My sister doesnt she has more of the irish/scicilian skin (Green eyes red hair... total opposite me!)

So, thanks to sam, now I am definitely going to surprise Vinnie and do a photoshoot on the Honeymoon!!

Now, I must find another white dress I dont want to use the same one I wore for the engagement pictures though...

Hmm...now its time for searching... OOO I hear the UPS truck!!! I think my wedding band may be here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hehe another dress - you sound just like me- i have loads of dresses that i have only wore once! My excuse is everytime there is a wedding or special occasion i have to buy a dress 'because the same people will be there from the last event and i dont want them to see me in the same dress'. Haha! You'll have a whole wedding dress collection by the time your done hehe!

mmmmm iceeee teaaaa - one thing i miss so badly when i am in UK - i will be bring a suitcase full home! Well you can always count on your class for stocking up on the snapple caps for the wedding! hehe! You could give everyone a bottle of it as a wedding favour haha! False alarm!
IT was vinnies birthday gift. It was supposed to be his wedding gift, but I cant hold it.... So I am going to give it to him as his birthday gift and tell him its for the wedding day!

We had gone to a mall not long ago that had ones like this and he got so excited and really wanted it...so tada...found it online and got it monogrammed!!

Also got all the groomsmen t's to match their pj's (Part of their gm gifts) from Gap... those came today! So exciting... we are offically done with their gifts!!!!

If only my ring came....

Its a tradition here, like you buy the mothers flowers or something to thank them for their help and maybe a spa day - and also the dads something ... i'm gonna be soo stuck what to get everyone because i cant give flowers because we cant take them home.. so thats one thing ill have to think about- i dont even know if i will get them gifts because i have an extended family - ect step mothers / fathers! crazy!

I realised earlier that i will have to get silk flowers because i dont want to pay $300 for a bouquet i cant take home with me to keep for a couple of weeks eeeeek!!

Lent Begins​

Okay, so, obviously I'm a christian.

Just came back from getting my ashes. And I am completely stuck on what to give up for lent. With my stomach issues, I cant have white breads, cheeses, lots of sugar, or any alcahol....

So what does that leave me to give up?
I used to give up Grapes, but, honestly, I need my fruit... and grapes are wonderful...

So, The first thing I gave up are my peppermint candies.

Then I considered Soda, but with my constant low immune system, it becomes very hard to say I will give that up if I catch another bug and need ginger ale.

Chocolate was mynext.. or cake...but how unfair would thatbe. My 25th birthday is coming up and we are going to a German resturant (my favorite place in the world) and to give up my birthday? Insane...

Sundays and Fridays we cant have meat. I'm already fasting for breakfast (Which will probably leave me sick)

And then, I got a nasty face when i said "Jesus didn't tell us to fast. If they had to drive cars and work all day and night, they wouldn't have fasted, they would have said this is enough of your life to give up to serve others"

And to be honest, I meant it in the most honest way. I love to give something up, but this year, it is just insane. Being that my diet is so limited as it is, anything I give up can be critical.

So, Seltzer and Peppermints this year. And i feel like a terrible person for it because I dont think I will miss it. I wish I could give up what my friends ar giving up but... Sick Jenny can't...

Oh well....

On a different note, THanks to Sam, I will now be surprising vinnie with a photo session for our Honeymoon. I am guessing the best time for us to d othis would be during the week, maybe the friday of our "one week" being married? I think I could keep it a secret. I just want him to know, I love him... and that even though the wedding is over, Iam more excited about spending my life with him

So this whole Lent thing... I am a crazy catholic so I can relate!

My grandmother actually said when i was younger "I don't think you should deprive yourself of things because it doesnt serve anyone else, you should go out an do something extra for other people during lent" so thats what I do... I don't restrict myself but I do things that I don't always do the rest of the year (but probably should, darn schedule!!). Last year I donated time and some money to a charity a friend of mine had started for the families of soldiers killed in action in Iraq. It felt really good (and it felt like "the Christian" thing to do)... so don't beat yourself up by giving up something you wouldn't really miss to begin with. Do something extra! You'll feel good and help others feel good too!

I am actually part of four charity orgs. Surfrider.org, The Missions Chapter here at our school and the Christian Committee. So, sometimes I forget that charity work is considered something special since its literally my daily life...

When I was younger, I was rejected from the peace corps because of my allergies, and I cried for days because I felt like I couldn't do anything for anyone lol.

I am hoping one day to do the build a home project, or something similar.
