wedding video music choices

I am getting ready to sign my wedding video contract and it is asking for songs for:
Pre-ceremony-
Ceremony-
Post ceremony-
reception-
recap-
i know most of the songs that i want during the actual day but, i need some songs that will make the video special i would love anyones ideas or examples

i am really open to all that is what makes it so hard. I like older stuff like classics beatles and billy joel or like "goign to the chapel" but i also like newer stuff like well i cant thing of a name but i just need to hear it and say aha.

I like 'From this Moment' by Shania Twain. I love lots of Disney songs too.

I kinda of like when the music is fun and upbeat, rather than sappy. It's an interesting mix to see your romantic memories shown against the popular music of the time. I also saw a cute one where the couple was getting married at the Boardwalk, and the song was "At the Boardwalk."

Where are you getting married? I think that really dictates what kind of music you should pick, but not neccessarily. I know one of my favorite upbeat songs is "Beautiful Day" by U2. Another great song is "Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole; it has a very tropical, Hawaiian sound. For reception music, I love "Save the Last Dance for Me" by Michael Buble. You might remember it from the movie "Wedding Date." My all-time favorite classic love song is "Unchained Melody" by Righteous Brothers. Finally, I don't know where this would fit in, but "Love Song" by 311 has a very modern vibe.

Here are the music choices that I made for my wedding video, I hope it helps

Baby picture pictoral: Me and You by Kenny Chesney
Pre-Ceremony: The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra and Bella Note (Not sure which version I have in my video but it is a man's voice and its beautiful - Stan actually picked it and it was perfect!
Ceremony: I didnt have music played over the ceremony part, it was just the actual ceremony and the background music that was at the pavilion that day.
End of Ceremony(while taking pics at pavilion)- I could not ask for more - Edwin McCain
Reception: The background music was the music heard throughout the reception portion of the video, although he did play the actual song during 1st dance, dad dance, mom dance, etc so the sound quality was much better and you didnt get that annoying "chatter" mixed in.He also did a cute part when we were going around the room hugging everyone and saying hello, he played "You've got a Friend in Me - from Toy Story" and that was really cute...an upbeat, Disney themed song and it just makes us smile everytime we see it...we love it!
Slow Motion Retrospect: A dream is a wish your heart makes - I used the version off of the Wishes CD - its my Linda Ronstadt


Picking the music was overwhelming but fun too....make sure you pick timeless pieces that you won't get sick of in 10 years! hahah!! Good luck and let me know if you need other ideas...I have soo many that I went though!!
