Tink, honestly, If a man is going to hit on you, the ring probably won’t matter. I have had men send me drinks at the local gastro pub at 11:30 in the morning when I’ve got 2 small kids with me, tennis rackets in hand, and I’m buying cherry sprites not booze (although some mornings I’ve thought about it!) I wear my ring anytime I’m in public and it’s pretty noticeable. Dh says it’s a flip off ring...lol. Doesn’t seem to stop those who are going to hit on you.

Yeesh, I feel ya! I was a bartender for years and I can tell you the men who hang out at bars at 11:30am are the losers who will hit on anything that moves. I mean, dudes drinking before noon on a weekday generally haven’t been making the best life decisions, ya know? Can you tell I wasn’t a fan of the morning shifts? Fortunately, they usually moved on once the strip clubs opened for the day!

We kinda treat our local place as a soda fountain for the kids as its right next to the park and one of the pools (and heck, cherry sprite is delicious even for me!). The guys who are not drinking cherry cokes at that hour seem to always be the same ones. I don’t go over when we don’t have the kids (so half the time) but I get the impression they’re there every day.
