Wedding open house what should we expect

We are going to the wedding open house in the next few weeks and we really dont have any idea what to expect from this event it was a last min, thing. Can anyone tell me how we get to the event do we need a cab? And will there be food sampling? We are just looking into a disney wedding for my DN and and advice we can get will help. I believe the event is supposed to be at Franc's Studio, which is right next to the Wedding Pavilion. It has free parking, so no cab needed. From what my consultant told me, they will have a sampling from lots of wedding components (think photography, invitations, favors), and the last time they did one, they had cake samples. Also I think you will be able to see the wedding pavilion. HTH!

We wont have a car with us this trip so how do we get to this event?

The wedding pavilion is in between the Poly and the Grand Floridian. Are you staying on Disney property? I would take a bus to MK and then take the boat or monorail to the Poly.

You can also take the next park bus that comes to your resort and transfer to the Poly bus when you get to that park. From your countdown it looks like you're staying at AKL, when we stayed there we used that method alot since the AK buses run about every 5-10 minutes since it's so close, so it was easier to just go there and transfer.

We are staying at POP this trip. So we can just get a bus to one of the parks then go to Poly and walk to the event? Im not sure how far it is.

Franck's is like a 5-minute walk from the Grand Floridian, and maybe a 7-minute walk from the Poly. Any CM can direct you.

I'll be at the Open House too! We're staying at the All-Star Music Resort. I was told that there is going to be a special bus to take us to the Open House. When you check in, just ask!

WOW, Thank you for all the info, i will make sure i ask about the bus at check in. Im really excited to go to this event we are just in the planing stage so we are trying to get as much info as we can, and maybe a little park time Have fun at the Open House.

The Open House is Saturday, August 28th.

My friend & I will be there (for a girls weekend). My DH & I are planning a vow renewal for our 20th next year.

We'll be staying at the Boardwalk. Can't wait! I so very much need a vacation (no matter how short!)
