Wedding night--Which Hotel?

Yacht Club, water view! The YC is a beautiful resort and the view of the Boardwalk at night can't be beat. Very romantic.

We haven't received a call back about our room rate yet, and I'm still undecided about where we want our ceremony. What about you? How many guests are you having?

We have about 15 max, but all out of state family members. so most likely we'll all stay at the swan/dolphin for convinience and more relaxed stay for their long trip. My initial options were AKL and Swan/Dolphin...that's it really :rotfl:

And since we're not restricted by which resort we stay in by going with justmarry, Swan/Dolphin's now our top choice. Swan's actually bit cheaper than the AKL Savanah view we looked at.

we did a site visit at the 5 Disney intimate wedding locations, sunset point was the only place we liked. but their date didn't work out so Swan's crescent terrace it is. shame that we didn't think about stop by there that day...

A garden suite at the Boardwalk Inn is very romantic. All the rooms have one king bed and have a large walk in shower and jacuzzi tub for two. It is 2 story and has a wet bar downstairs with a 1/2 bath.

the swan & dolphin definetly have less kids than other wdw resorts & the beds are very comfortable. theres also a new spa that opened up at the dolphin that offers couples treatments, something special for your special occasion. i would also suggest the garden suites at the boardwalk, kind of expensive but they look divine with their private garden entrance, tub big enough for 2, the mini kitchen, concierge service & lounge, plus all the entertainment of the boardwalk steps away, the boardwalk is also romantic to stroll at night. either of these resorts would keep you close to your wedding ceremony location & would provide easy transportation via boat to mgm & epcot which is nice.

You're kinda setting yourself up for a let-down if you try to plan a honeymood without kids at WDW. But, you might find less children at a hotel off-property that specializes in conventions or something.

Congrats on your up-coming wedding, and best wishes for years of happily wedded bliss!

I'd recommend the Yacht Club or the Grand Floridian in a honeymoon suite.

Another vote for AKL Savanna View. we stayed there to celebrate our pregnancy. It was fantastic.
