I will be missing my cousin's wedding because we will be in WDW. However, she and her new husband will be honeymooning in WDW and our trips will overlap! For her wedding gift, I would like to put together a gift basket of things that they can use and enjoy while they are there. Any suggestions on what I can put in the basket? Can it be delivered to them?

I wouldn't see why is couldn't be delivered to them. Just off the top of my head, here are some basket ideas:

The bride & groom Mickey ears
Disney dollars or gift card
In room snacks, bottle of champagne, wine, something like that.
Gift certificates for a couples massage at the GF

Maybe this can at least get you started :)

Disney Floral has some great gift baskets, and I'm sure they can put something together for them that they'll love.

I would check out Memories by Betsy. She's doing a birthday basket for dd and I've been thrilled w/ her services!

She'll put anything you want in the basket (charges exactly what WDW charges + tax), will suggest stuff if you are stuck...and will even include things you purchase if you send them to her!

Oh and she's much less expensive than the Disney florist! :thumbsup2

Downtown Disney has a lot of cool stuff that you can use to put together a gift basket of sorts. I'd opt for a bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee at the kitchen store (can't remember the proper name)...it runs $26 there. Some champagne flutes (you can get them at most deluxe resort gift shops), Disney Dollars are definitely a must IMO, then there are the cool bath bombs at the bath shop. Maybe a few Mickey candles too-we used those for our honeymoon at the world.

Some of the offsite basket designers cannot put food in their baskets due to health code regulations in FL (or at least that is what I have read here on the Dis). I would use www.disneyflorist.com they did a great job on a basket I had delivered to my Dsis at POR in Feb. They have some great honeymoon ones.

Have a great trip :)

To be honest...the last thing I need is more food at WDW! .. so that wouldn't be a deal breaker for me!

My friends just recently got married and honeymooned in WDW and my DBF and I got them 2 gift cards to use in the parks (you can buy them online or at your Disney Store), the stuffed Groom Mickey and Bride Minnie (we made them hold the gift cards in the box), the bride and groom Mickey ears, and they had the newer Disney Scene It on their wedding registry, so we got them that.

Are your cousins using the Disney registry? The can register for experiences/meals/gifts at WDW on the wedding website. Maybe you could add something to that.

When we went to Disney for our Honeymoon we purchased a Picture frame from the Crystal Shop at the Magic Kingdom. We had our Wedding date engraved on it. Then we put a picture of us on our wedding day in it. We get so many compliments. Our gift to anyone we know honeymooning in Disney is Disney Dollars with the suggestion to purchase something at the Crystal Store. It's Disney but now overly so. Another idea is to purchase the Glass Pitcher with their family name on it and then 2 glasses (one with each first name). They can add glasses as their family grows. We started this tradition on one of our trips and our entire extended family has now copied us.

Well, if you know where they are staying, then leave them an envelope with money for a carriage ride that starts at Port Orleans if I remember..I gave my daughter that for a shower gift for when she went on her honeymoon. I also gave them money towards dinner there also..They loved it...I booked the 2 person carriage..she said it was perfect:) A good way to start off my relationship with my new sil:)

I'm sure anything you give will be greatly appreciated. I agree the disney dollars would be a great idea.

Definitely agree with the bride and groom ears...how about having personalized "Just Married" t-shirts made?

I also like the idea of a disney book...maybe the "Hidden Mickey" book or some sort of Disney trivia book?
