Here is my dress...at my first fitting, so it still needs alterations!! I'm down 10 pounds with about 15 more to go...so more alterations!!

That dress is sooooo flattering! I have a halter type dress as well! It looks so great on you!

Thank you so much!! I swear I tried on 50 different dresses and finally found this one in a teeny tiny shop in a small, hick town!! It was a lot less than I later saw it selling for in other shops too!!

i think i posted my dress a while back when i first got it...but here's the "finished" look! it's from david's bridal, and i must admit i didn't have the best experience there (they were pushy and rude when we went looking for bridesmaid dresses), but hey i found my dream dress there so i was happy. our wedding was 12-16-07

The french press was there during our wedding and we made it to a news clip in france!!

well, DIS wouldn't let me upload a pic without having 10 posts... Anyway, its that white and black one from Davids....

Unfortunately for me, the dress has shrunk 2 sizes in the closet, so i'm hoping to not only get back down to this size, but to lose another 20lbs on top of it... DF and I started Weight Watchers. He's down 6 lb and I'm down 5 and it's only been 2 weeks... anyone else struggling with bridal weight?

Yes, I too have weight to lose before our DFTW in June, 2009. I did weight watchers before and it is a great program, is really easy to follow, and really works. Unfortunately, right now, it is out of our budget, so I am doing my own program. I have just been watching what I eat and exercising every day. So far I have lost 13 pounds!!! I would like to lose 50 pounds before I go and try on any dresses. My goal is 100 before our wedding. I am looking forward to getting skinnier!!!
