I found a dress I love on JJ's house online. I am nervous to buy a dress like this online, with no return policy.

The only dress stores I have near me are boutiques and davids bridal. With mine being a vow renewal, I did not want to go crazy overboard with the cost of the dress.

Has anyone ordered from them or another online site that they loved?

I'm extremely leery of those overseas dress knockoff sites like JJ's House. Sizing and workmanship tends to be all over the place, you can't count on the manufacturers to have ethical labor practices, and even if you can return a bad dress, the overseas return shipping costs so much it's rarely worth it.

That said, I did order online, from an Etsy seller, and had a good experience.

you looked stunning! you are right 100%. I think I will check out my local boutiques and see if they have any sample sales for under $1k.

I bought a second dress from David's for $160. If you want something simple you can also look at Bridesmaid dresses that can be made in white or ivory and will almost always be less than $1k.

That is an awesome picture!! Is that TOT?! I am too much of a wimp to go on! I found two dresses on Davids for under $500! What do you think? I love the high low because I want my shoes to show.

If you have a David's near you, go in to the store and try the dresses on. What matters is how your dress looks on you -- not on a model in a picture. I picked out a gorgeous dress on line, then tracked down a boutique that carried it near me. Unfortunately, the dress did not look as great on me as I had hoped. Fortunately, the boutique owner had a practiced eye, and helped me choose an even better (and less expensive) option.

Yes that Tower of Terror! We did it as a ride Mix-In with a Fantasmic DP its my favorite ride! I had custom shoes made for my wedding and wanted to show them off - plus I HAD to be allowed on ToT.

They had some GORGEOUS short dresses and high-lows that I never saw online plus as mentioned above you want to know how it looks on you.

I know stores are starting to pop up where they sell dresses that were sample ones used in bridal salons. Vows out of Boston was really the 1st big one. You can get huge discounts on expensive dresses. Where I live outside of Indianapolis we have one and I have my 20 yr anniversary next year. Planning a trip to Hawaii (possibly Aulani) and will look there if we choose to do a vow renewal with our trip. I would love wedding photos on the beach in Hawaii. I know David's Bridal always has big sales. Some other chain bridal gown stores like Demetrios and Alfred Angelo might as well. Look to see what your local bridal shops have on sale/clearance too. You never know what you might find.
