Wedding dress transportation ????

Question for all of you previously married Disney Brides......How did you all transport your dresses from your hometown to Orlando??? My future sister in law is considering purchasing another air plane seat for her dress..... Sounds like a silly waste of money to me........but I suspect there's got to be a better way....... Although I could be wrong....so please help me out....need your thoughts..........

i packed my dress in a carry on bag and had it with me on the plane. it was getting pressed anyway by Carolyn Allen's so I couldn't care less how many wrinkles the dress was going to have on the way down there.
