Ok, we are planning a December wedding at Sea Breeze Point. I am wanting to keep our wedding from being overly-christmasy, but am torn between two wedding color options..

We are planning our character theme to be wedding mickey and minnie (not princess)

So our two options right now are
1) Princess Blue (think Cinderella's dress)/ White
2) Red/White

Red would be stunning in photographs...but it may be too Christmas. So let me know your opinions!

Thanks :upsidedow

I love the blue and white. You could actually use a royal blue and lighter blue with maybe even silver accents. I have seen some really pretty Disney blue, white, and silver cakes.

dark blue (almost navy) looks great too and mixes with red well. My SIL used this and photos looked great. You can find nice winter bridesmaid dresses in silk, tafetta, satin and velvet in this color. Guys still wore black.

My colors are royal blue and ivory. I'm not a white person. They look outstanding together.

My colors are going to be Cinderella blue and white! :-) We seem to have a lot in common (when we joined, age, etc.), it's funny! So anyways, blue and white is my vote!!!:lmao:

lol...it IS kind of eery! I love the blue and white most myself I think. It gives a Disney feel, but it can also be seen as a 'winter wonderland' type feel. But the pics won't have to be over-christmasy. Oh...and we have decided on a grey suit for the men with the princess blue vests & ties. DF will wear a white vest under his suit, but still the blue tie.

Thanks everyone for your input! :) I love these boards!!!
And the navy/ivory sounds beautiful too...but I think we are trying to shy away from dark colors..we have almost all blondes in the wedding party..so we want them all to look like princesses! :)

Those are my colors:goodvibes ...Cinderella Blue and White......however I LOVE the idea of the silver accents...it puts a holiday tone to everything without going over the top with Christmas...

Plus the silver adds sparkle and every Fairytale theme needs sparkle!

Agreed! Sparkle is good for everything...especially for your wedding...you're the princess for the day (well we all are everyday, but that day it's allowed!!) and every princess needs sparkle!

Silver and blue evoke a winter feel quite nicely!

Congratulations!

aww...i loved her pics!! I had to tell DF all about her cake table with the christmas trees lol. I said "hey! for our vow renewal we need to do this and serve hot cocoa at disney!":santa: lol...he replied "lets just focus on one thing at a time" lol :sad2:
