So, here it is...I have wanted sea foam green and pink as my wedding colors, but my fiance thinks they're too "girly." So now he wants to add in a manly color (well, his fave color), Royal Blue. I was thinking Seafoam Green bridesmaids and whatnot with pink flowers, but how can I add in Royal Blue??? Maybe if it was a lighter and softer blue...but would these colors work together at all??? Any suggestions??

I think if it was a lighter shade of blue then yes, it would definitely go with the sea green and pink. Is he willing to be a little bit flexible about the shade??

I know my fiance is usually super laid back about everything...except color (like painting the walls, what I wear, etc.) and so far he has been really good in regards to wedding colors. I just hope he doesn't suddenly decide to change his mind!

Best of luck! ;)

Two of my favorite colors are seafoam green and royal blue after my hockey team back in my high school days (Worcester IceCats - AHL just in case anyone wanted to know! lol). I think they look great together. But the pink added in doesn't work for me, for some reason - and I'm definitely not anti-pink! I wanted it for my wedding, but all the men in the family refused to be involved in a pink wedding. :confused3

I think if you can get it to a hydrangea blue you might be able to get it in without it looking out of place. Then maybe get the blue in in the form of flowers (hydrangea and delphinum come to mind). I dunno... this is a toughie!

I did green (celedon) with pink and white accent colors. Although there are lots of colors that go with green, I'm not sure that blue is one of them. This isn't the best picture, but you can see how the colors look together. The flowers that they carried are pink and white.

I never thought of jewel tones - that would be beautiful! And very much "in" - I think it was Brides that said jewel tones were "in" this year! :thumbsup2

I my main color was close to a jewel tone. It was shade of purple. I loved it...We added some greens and whites and it looked great...You can see some of our pro-pics in my blog if you are looking for inspiration.

Good Luck!!!:thumbsup2

I don't have any suggestions. Royal Blue + sea foam green + pink = a mess.

I did find these "swatches" maybe you could consider Royal blue and silver (common, but very pretty).

Choose colors that complement the setting.According to me think about green and peach. It's a really beautiful combination.Have fun choosing your themes and colors.

I did royal blue with pink and green, but they were jewel tones, not the seafoam green.

I found a picture that had the three colors in it and then built an inspiration board around it.

If you'r going to go for a 3 color combo, choose one of them to be the main color and the other 2 to be accents.

And try to stick to colors that occur together in nature!
