wedding cake at my desert party?

If I get it through the Disney bakers, can I have a wedding cake at my epcot desert party, even though I am not a Disney bride? Or would I have to settle for just the deserts? I was just wondering about the rules for all that... I have so many questions...lol there is so much to do...

You'll probably have to ask either the GF bakery or whoever you organise your DP with... Sorry, I'm not of much help, but I don't like unanswered questions!

I could be wrong on this, but when I called a few different places, it was hard to get the cake moved from where it was made if you were not a disney bride. I know you can have the cake at the GF if you order from there- so if it were a sago cay party, maybe?? I know you could get one on the yacht for the fireworks as I had looked in to that.

I would call whoever set up your dessert party to find out, and also contact GFbakery. Your best bet is the dessert party people I would think, as they will know what is allowed with health code restrictions. I don't know about that so I'm not much help, because my DH planned our dessert party (yay!!).

Good luck! FYI, being a 'non disney- disney bride' requires A LOT of phone calls! But it will work itself out. Make yourself a list and tackle something each day and you'll be just fine

If you're working with a Disney Catering & Convention Services planner, they can arrange this for you. We had an anniversary cake made by the Grand Floridian bakery and transported to our private dessert party at Epcot - there was a $75 fee. We sent our planner an inspiration picture, and the GF Bakery did an amazing job!
