I really don't know. 
But I hate to see orphan threads. 
I will take a wild guess say it should be better but still crowded. There are still the ticket deals for S. Ca. and I also wonder if there are still many S. Ca locals who have the deluxe AP who are not blocked out. Will you be going this week?

I don't have much experience myself, but I would guess that either day will be about the same. The key would be to get there as early as possible regardless--20-30 minutes before opening would be ideal. Wednesday would be the better day to get a jump on crowds in the morning, since there is no Magic Morning, but by the time I post this, it's too late to get there early. 
(Wednesday is also farther away from the weekend so in theory there may be a few less tourists...but it could be countered by locals with Deluxe APs wanting to get in to see Fantasmic as early as possible.)
I agree that there may still be a lot of APs there, but I would think it won't be as bad as the last couple days.

Today, Wednesday should be better than Thursday. On Thursday, the Lakers are supposed to be at Disneyland.

It may not make much difference if you aren't there at park opening, but Thursday is a MM day and Wednesday is not. So I'd choose Wednesday at be at the gates 45 minutes before park opening.

Thursday is a Grad night, so no Fantasmic, DL park closes early, CA closes early and no EP.
Keep that in mind. We are going tonight because of that and are hoping that crowds are better than Sunday and Monday.
