My DS9 just got a diagnosis of ASD-PDDNOS. We are looking for all good information that we can. Many of the sites are just trying to sell things or are geared toward extreme ASD or toward younger kids. Does anyone have a great website they recommend. I'm looking for a support board, but also products that are helpful and therapies to try. Thanks!

As you can see by the lack of responses there is really no broad site that people recommend.

There are some good sites for specific areas of the genetics.

For social skills try this one
http://www.socialthinking.com/

For a broad ranging board wrong planet is good but a little scary for the novice

http://www.wrongplanet.net/

For broader information check with your state Autism society or Parent information center

IF you have not read it already the best first read is "The complete guide to Aspergers" by Tony Attwood which is available on Amazon for about $17

This board is one of the best and "gentlest" for good general experiance and parents all along the spectrum and at different points in the "journey"

Thank you Bookworme! I'll give them a try and I'm off to buy the book right now! Thanks!
