The website is down, I know, scheduled maintenance/upgrade. Of course, this is literally the first day in about 3 months I've needed the site. Also, I can't get through to MS via phones.

I'll be interested to see what the "upgrades" are, maybe there will be "smarter" search results.

They said 1 o'clock, now it's a few hours past that. I wonder if this will be up today?
 
I was waiting on the 1:00 time as well - it is well after that, and it is still not up and running. I also tried to get on the regular site to make an ADR, and that system is down too. :badpc:

It's an upgrade of the whole WDW system, rooms, tickets, dining, not just DVC. So there may not be any DVC changes.
 
I called at 1:25pm and was told by a rep to expect it up at 3pm (EST). Its about 3:30 EST and still nothing. They won't take your phone calls, either. The entire system is down.
 

I was trying to get my one-time use code to gain access to the website and was able to speak to someone. They said they've given up for the day and to try back tomorrow.
 
The time on the member website now says 730, of course subject to change…:badpc:
 
I am sure there are people around who have more concrete data than I do, but it seems like every time there is a planned outage of the Disney web site, that outage goes on far longer, and has more repercussions, than the customers/members are ever led to believe.

I would be surprised if it is up before tomorrow afternoon. But I hope I am wrong.
 
I didn't notice any changes, but I tried to cancel a reservation online and rebook a different week, and it completely messed up my points. (Didn't use banked points, seems, in fact, to have lost all my banked points, and took a random number of points from each of my contracts. )

I tried to call Member Services for help, was on hold for 15 and then was disconnected/hung up on. :mad:
 
I can tell you that this morning I got an update on my Android Disney App.

I can also tell you that the Disneyworld.com web site, will not display any of my reservations. When I click to view my reservations, it takes me to a page to put in my email and password. After I do that, it takes me back to the home page on which I click to find my reservations. It then takes me back to put in my password, etc.

It also tells me it cannot display any reservations when I try to search by reservation number.

So no, it's not completely back and working. But I can't really remember a time when it really worked well anyway.

The good news is that the DVC member web site shows my reservation, which just cleared the waitlist about 2 hours before the shutdown!:cheer2:

I did not see any changes but before I booked it confirmed that it wanted me to use points against the contract. So there was a moment I reviewed it & then moved on to the next screen. At that screen it allowed me to undo it if I was not satisfied with the way my points were used. This is way it has been though. We have have several small contracts & bank & borrow so I am have a concern I go back & go through the contracts again before I confirm the reservation.

At this point I would call ms again & review your contract transactions online. Email them if necessary the details.

The website is now saying that reservations cannot currently be made online.

On the bright side, I can still see my reservation, and they have straightened out the points problems. I'm going to quit being at all frustrated about the initial experience and just be grateful that it all seems to be sorted out.
