Website to compare your running

I was curious if anyone knew of a good website where I could compare my runs vs. the average person my age and/or weight. I'm just curious how I stack up against the average runner with similar stats. I'm not an elite runner or anything. It's more or less so I can see how well I'm doing (or push myself to do a little better). I feel pretty good about my overall fitness, but I'm very results driven and stuff like that is either validation or incentive for me.

One key thing I was looking for was a breakdown of if I run a half-marathon in _________, I am in the top ____% of my age group. Stuff like that.

I sure haven't a clue. :scratchin

Can compare for a triathlon since we are divided in age groups. Just did a Half Ironman in May. It was fun looking at results and seeing I whipped many butts younger than myself.

Try an age grade calculator:

Age grading is a way of putting all race participants on a level playing field, regardless of age or gender. Age graded scores let you compare your race times to those of different runners, as well as to the standard for your age and gender.

For someone such as myself, my 2:11:12 half marathon PR scores pretty low but considering that it was done walking I feel pretty good about it.

I think that's pretty close to what I was looking for. I was trying to gauge how I'm doing vs. others my age. Obviously you know that if you're placing at local races in your age group, you're doing pretty good, but I'm usually just outside the placing and that's just locally. It looks like I'm in the top 50%of my age group for every type of race and I'm happy with that. My goal is to not only maintain that as I age, but to get a little better if possible.

If you're on Athlinks.com, they have a metric (RPI) that they use to compare people against their age group, gender, and overall. I have no idea exactly how that number works, though. But they also offer a lot of stats on each individual race, so you can see where you finished in the field in each race.
