Website issues

I can't get it to show me anything for date searches. 7:48 EST. Was wondering if it was just me before I start tearing apart my browser cache, network DNS settings, etc.

For the first time in forever ❄️, I had to disable my custom DNS settings on my router. It's kind of a nuclear way to zap all ads off of any devices used in our home. Works really well.

Of course Disney figured out a way to make it an issue. As soon as I disabled it, I could see dates. Thank you for responding, I didn't wanna do that if I didn't have to.

So for anyone that uses custom DNS settings to block ads, guess DVC booking won't work anymore until you disable. I'm a tech guy and I'm not even sure how they are doing that or why. Likely unintentionally. Cuz everything else up to that point, including login, worked fine.

My akv-kidani points are telling me I can’t book jambo at 11 months. I chatted with dvc yesterday and they said they’re aware of the issue, and they can book for me. Doesn’t help if you’re trying to secure a tough room at 8am.

Did you post this on FB? If not, it’s apparently happening to others also.

No I did not post on facebook. I knew it was a widespread issue since dvc acknowledged it. But it’s quite concerning. They should’ve had it fixed asap. People are being affected and it’s a major disadvantage when kidani and jambo should be treated equally.

I am having the same problem. I just posted in the AKV thread the same question before checking here. (Maybe should have checked here first.)

Thankfully I'm not looking to book Jambo anytime soon but I would be pretty pissed if this happened to me.

As of right now I'm getting 7 dwarves when going to the booking page, is this happening to anyone else currently?

Edit: weird, I guess it's related to my adblocker being on

An ad blocker almost be definition messes with the way a website is supposed to work (as sites are not designed for ad removal) so you use them at your own risk.
Ehhh, not really. I've used this one for 7 years, and this is the first issue I've ever had with any website. Once you get used to no ads, there's simply no going back to the normal web. The incessant ad loading nowadays is bonkers, to where you can't even keep track of what you're reading due to the html resizing everything constantly to make room for google adsense refreshing new banners or whatever.

Plus it's just a custom DNS, this isn't like a chrome extension ad blocker.

Well, it assumes it redirects requests in a way unintended by the website operator (to kill the ads). Not sure why Disney should have to test for this scenario.
