I really, really dislike the 'site updates' at the top of the screen. Whenever I scroll on my mouse, instead of scrolling the page it scrolls the box. grrrrr. Can we get a choice to not show it?

And I don't know if it's related but the DIScreet skin is tossing errors left and right now, and it's annoying. It looks like when DMsendTo is built, there's a line feed or something. ugh!

There's a box right up under the first horizontal menu that now shows "Site Updates" and lists what I presume are newly updated pages.

The error is not just happening on the DIScreet skin.

What I wish they would do is get rid of the vertical moderator list on those 3 extra child boards at the top, useless use of real estate.

It's on all skins I've looked at.

I was gonna ask about the moderator list too, but didn't want to complain about too much at one time. They could just say "moderator Team" and show the list on mouse over, but that's just me.

You may be but not just noticing it. Look in the bottom left hand corner of your browser window. Does it show a yellow caution sign with an exclamation in it? Then you are seeing the error.

The problem is I am a software developer and that causs a pop-up error message for me EVERY TIME.

On a thread page, like this one, I get a yellow 'error'. On the board page, an IE 'E'. I do allow popups here on the DIS, though never get any.

My pop-up is a developer pop-up asking me if I want to debug the page. I can't turn it off because it's integral to my work. It shows two errors on almost all pages.

The Site Update Box is not on all skins. Try the Orlando Blue and you'll see it.

Yup, the scrolling think is making me nuts!
