Webmaster's new UO site

Can we have some more info about the new site? I'm so curious. Will it not be part of the DIS, at this location, anymore? What about these boards right here, will they be shut down? It sounds like a major site being planned. Will someone tell us more?

Back in the day, we had seperate sites for Disney, Universal and Sea World. As time went on, I didn't have the resources to maintain the boards, the DIS, and those two sites, so I let them slide. Fast forward to present day, we now have the support to process the information and get the sites updated the way they should be, so I decided to relaunch the two sites. The Universal site will be first. It will be similar in design to the DIS, but will have it's content soley based on Universal. Of course the DIS will provide links to that site, and vice versa. These forums will remain just where they are, so no worries about that Again, I don't have a time frame when the site will go live, but it will be sooner rather than later, as all my efforts right now are directed towards that site. It's coming along rather nicely, and I'm very excited about some of the content we'll have up there.

Thanks for all the effort Pete. After looking at literally hundreds of other sites about WDW, the DIS is definitely the ultimate for getting the best information. Can't wait to see what you do for UO.
