Webcast: Vacations As You Wish

Anybody else sign up for this webcast? I just received an email that I should "keep an eye on" my mailbox for the "Vacations As You Wish Party In A Box package."

DVC is having some webcasts next week. I believe it's 3 days, twice a day. Mine is June 11, 7 pm. Go to www.DisneyVacationClub.com/wish Funny, it shows "postcards" of London and Hawaii!

im confused here..how were you notified about this event? how/where can you register for this?

i never got an email about this and i cant find anything about this on the website. i cant register for the event when i click in the link in Carls post

I received an email about registering for it. Registration was over May 31.

Yeah, I didn't get it, either. Big mistake on DVC's part, IMO.

Emails were supposedly sent to non-owners who have expressed a prior interest in ownership. Registrations were limited in number and I am told that they have now closed.

I was fortunate to have received the e-mail as well! I signed up, and am very excited to see the webcast. I received my "goody box" on Friday and was very surprised. I guess I never saw the e-mail stating that I would be receving it. How cool!

We are members but from time to time DH will receive these announcements, etc. I think because couple years back before we purchased DH had did onsite DVC visit & filled out his name only whereas our membership is listed in both our names.

Let me clarify how I got this. Although I am a previously registered DVC potential buyer, I did NOT receive an invitation from DVC; I received a third party email mentioning the webcast, a day after sign up was over. But I was able to sign up anyway.
I just received my kit. It was mailed by Laurie Ryan from Duluth, GA via FedEx. Inside is a box that has the DVC logo. Inside that box is where the fun begins.
It contains:
1. Mouse Ears with a DVC sticker, which I'm currently wearing (so I'm a 55 year old attorney, wanna make something of it? LOL)
2. Small cloth bag of Mickie mylar confetti.
3. DVC mousepad
4. DVC folio, with a DVC pen, a legal pad, and a "Vacation As You Wish Webcast Special Incentives-Guest Notes" card, with indications for 160, 200, 270, 320, and 500 Vacation Point Packages
5. A card titled "Vacation As You Wish," welcoming you to the party in a box and webcast
6. A "Members Getaways Maps 2009" booklet with affiliated resorts, as in the Wishes book
7.A 9" X 11" "Welcome To Your Palace Next To The Castle" booklet about BLT, including points chart for 2009, which I imagine is what is in the new Wishes book.
