man, Tornado warnings yesterday, flood warnings today.
We leave Friday..rain rain please go away or subside a little.
Guss I was spolied last year when it rained a total of 1 hour during our 11 day visit...

Will all the rides and such stay open during rain times?

Some rides stay open during the rain and some close. Some close only if there is lightening or the rain is extremely heavy. Usually this time of year the rain does not fall all day long. I went with my wife in June and it rained off and on the first two and half days. It was not that bad. We still had a great time.

Hi,
We just got back today and weather was great but the forecast was poor most of the time.
We had a tropical "wave" pass thru on Thursday and I was really worried about the weather while we were there.
It rained off and on all day. They close outside rides if there is thunder and they see lightning.
We just wore our mickey ponchos and went on with our day.
The weather channel said it was going to rain all weekend when we were there but we only had the usual 4:00 shower then beautiful sunshine.
I wouldn't worry about the weather. It usually blows over.
my son even said "it rains every day here but then it is really nice"

A little tip: if you rip your mickey poncho (which we did,) they will replace it for you free of charge. The CM told me they are not supposed to rip.

it is still fun even in the rain!

This has been a rainier than normal summer for Florida, not just the typical afternoon storms...but you always have to expect unstable weather this time of year, especially through September which is peak hurricane season.

Unusual though most of the rain has not been the result of tropical systems so far...just low pressure systems hanging out over Florida.

Just go and have fun. The one thing about it though, is that one day is very different than the next:p!

As long as it doesn't rain on the 26th for our Illuminations cruise I'll be happy! Other then that go ahead and RAIN! the parks are great in the rain.....pple think they will melt and LEAVE!! We did MK on a Sunday in the rain (poured most of the day) and we got to do it all!!! No lines, no wait, no need for FP.
See you in a few days!!
