How is the weather in Sept. Does it rain much. What type of clothes do we need to pack? Shorts, coats, t shirts or tank tops.

Last year I overpacked because I wasn't sure if it would be cool in the evening. It wasn't! I wore shorts and tank tops the whole time. The only time I wore a sweater was inside the air conditioning in shops and restaurants. I don't know about you but I can not *stand* T-shirts in hot weather, they feel so heavy to me. I don't plan on bringing anything but tanks and shorts and bathing suits in September. And of course my sweaters for the air conditioning. :thumbsup2

its hot and humid, very very very humid.
we usually bring a long sleeve shirt for each person for dinner, but thats it.
dont even think about bringing a coat, you wont need it.
you will probably need ponchos, because yes it may just rain everyday. but a rain shower only lasts 15-20 minutes, and then its hotter than it was before it rained. bizarre isnt it? but the rain causes the humidity to go up. so although i ahte the rain for that, its great for rides. everyone will run and hide where ever they are. its great. we throw on out ponchos and its off to the next ride.

Plan on heat and rain, check a weather forcast before you leave I always check a 10 day. But..... I'm sure it's going to tell you heat and chance of rain!
I carry a sweatshirt, poncho and travel umbrella in my backpack for those mid-day rains. If you get wet the airconditioning can freeze you out. If you are riding the bus you can get cold there as well.

We were in WDW September 15-23 last year. It did rain but we had plenty of sunshine and the rain seemed to cool things down. We loved the fact that there was no crowds. We are going again this September and will probably go again next September as well.

We went last September in the first week.

The weather was pretty hot and humid. It did rain evey day that we were there but only for about half an hour to an hour. It was nice though as it cooled everything down and we could see the rain clouds coming so it gave us time to get under cover.

In the evenings it was really warm too. Was really nice to have a dip in the pool to cool down before going to bed :)

You definately won't need a coat other than a poncho. As everyone has mentioned...it's really hot and humid in Sept. Personally, I plan at least two shirts a day (since I don't want to do laundry). Also, bring more than one bathing suit. Because of the humidity, things will not dry very quickly. We put our wet clothes on the chairs on our balcony and they take several days to dry.

:sunny:We went in September a couple of years ago and found it to be very hot - We bought one (maybe 2) of the water bottles with fans...
DH wants to bring a water mister with us this time..
:umbrella: It also rained quite a bit. We have visited WDW a couple times since then and always remember to take our rain gear with us (everyday) to each park.
