Weather & water parks question

Hello,

All previous trips have been in school summer hols ie late July / August and you could practically set your watch by the afternoon thunderstorm lol

I was wondering we are going late April - early May next year - anyone been that time of year? How r the afternoon storms - I'm thinking of spending a couple of afternoons in the water parks ( we have lots of water park days left on old tickets ) wondered whether it would be worth it -?

Late April/ early May has very low rainfall historically. Temps around low to mid 70F. Very nice time to visit. Crowds are usually fairly low around the first two weeks of May

The temps are usually mid to high 80s at that time however the humidity hasn't built up enough to spark the afternoon storms

Mid May was absolutely boiling hot this year. High 90's and into the 100's! Very little rain. I think that was unusually hot though.

I was there April this year and it was glorious!! As others have said, hot but not enough humidity to rain. We only saw rain once, where it did rain for almost a whole day, but other than that not a drop! To be honest the weather was perfect! Enjoy

We're looking at doing our 1st adult only trip,
We are thinking start of may,and was wondering the same thing,as I need it to be pretty warm to be able to swim at waterpark,and I love them however I don't want the crowds of July august time.

We was going to add a cruise before or after,thinking before as I love the parks and like to finish my trip at MK anybody cruised this time of yr,how was it?
