Weather this week...

So we leave for our trip Tuesday morning. Just looked at the weather for Orlando and the entire week looks cloudy with thunderstorms... Is this pretty normal and the likelihood of some sun is still good?! Wishful thinking?! :/

Yup, pretty normal for Orlando. My app shows sunny to partly cloudy most mornings with building clouds and afternoon thunderstorms. Some days it will happen, others it will not and you'll see the sun all day. Typically, a forecast is only good for the next day or two there. Temps are in the high 80's and 90 so the humidity and clouds build into the afternoon. Have a great vacation.

We leave Wednesday and saw the same thing. But, we go in May all the time and sometimes it materializes, and sometimes not. When it does, it's often brief anyways and moves along. The storms are so localized that it's really not much.

I also saw that they actual amounts of rain are .1-.6 of an inch, so that really is a storm and then moving on, and rarely a whole day of rain.

Either way...pack a raincoat/umbrella/poncho and all will be good.

Definitely just pack some ponchos and go about your plans.....I wouldn't be surprised to see pop up showers at least a couple times during your trip but most of the time they are short lived and won't ruin the whole day...I'm hoping the same holds true for our trip arriving on Sunday as well!!
