Weather this week- are you there?

We head down on Saturday, and it looks like the weather will be pretty much the same over this week and next. If you're there now, would you mind sharing how it's been? (You can message me if you'd like). It's always hard to judge based on forecast-- there's chance of thunderstorms every day, but I'm wondering how much WDW is actually getting. Trying to figure out our poncho/footwear plans, and getting an idea of how hot it will feel like. Thanks SO much!

Local. We've been having some rain nearly every day but not enough to note (at least since Hermine). The forecast does look more dire for the next week or so but in general my experience is that the 80-90% chance of rain means there's an 80-90% chance that it will rain SOMEWHERE in the area at SOME TIME. It's possible that it will settle exactly over where you are and storm for 2 hours while 5 minutes away it will be sunny the entire time. Unlike most of my life living in the midwest, there's just no logical flow to the rain/storms here and they pop up and disappear seemingly randomly.

To answer your second question - it will feel hot. Period. It's still very hot. :sunny:

Thanks. So keep ponchos in hand, but it's perfectly likely we might not need them at all?

Rats on the heat, it's starting to cool down here in GA, but I guess FL isn't that lucky yet! The last time we went in Sept, I actually don't remember it being crazy hot, but maybe we just got lucky!

depends if your out when it rains that day. The day by day forecasts don't really tell you much as they will always say rain, just not which 20 minutes that rain will happen in. This week is suppose to be somewhat wet though and not sure what the weekend and next week is going to be like. things change daily around here so you need to take more than 24 hours in advance with a grain of salt and I personally check the hour by hour before I head out anywhere to know roughly what to expect..
